Commonly, when comes to making a decision on which renovation contractors or renovators to engage for your house renovation, what most homeowners will do are to first ask around their friends or relatives for any good recommendations of renovation contractors or renovators to referral, if not you will do up some due diligence via the internet research or read up some home design magazine to get some inspiration of design and also interior design company information. Nevertheless, there will always have pro and cons when comes to the selection of referral renovation contractors and renovators.

Perhaps, if the renovation contractors or renovators are maintaining the same good attitudes to serves each and every of his/her customers, the homeowner is lucky enough to enjoy the smooth sailing journey for their entire renovation works. However, if the renovation contractors or renovators are having too many projects on hand at that time, especially year-end or coming to Chinese New Year, the result that produced might not turn out the way what the homeowners wanted. After all, we all know that things are not always perfect in life, homeowners may have already mentally prepared to expect these levels of the standard on workmanship during the peak season.

Arguing with that, it is always best to believe in your “own eyes” and your own “gut feeling” as knowing the devil of you is always better than seeing the angel face the renovation contractors gave. Ministry of Renovation (MOR) allows the homeowner to provide feedbacks on ratings, reviews, and comments on the experience for the work done by the individual renovation contractor or renovation company respectively. Hence, these ratings, reviews, and comments of the respective company are judged based on the quality of products, service, and price on homeowners experienced with them.

For instance, a group of homeowners may find these renovation contractors or renovation company services are excellent but the price is a little pricey. And another group of homeowners may find prices are reasonable, but the workmanship is inadequate, and so on. Nevertheless, in the MOR platform, it is our role and responsibility to highlight every individual renovation contractor or renovator on their strengths and weaknesses based on their price, service, and workmanship on the past renovation works they have done for the homeowners.

Eventually, this will allow homeowners to get a precise and transparent image of the renovation contractors or Renovation Company of what to be expected before engagement or commencement of any renovation works. There will help every homeowner to feel more comfortable upon engagement of renovation contractors and also reduce down the risk of dispute, miscommunication, or even scammer of renovation contractors.
